The college is designed to help in hospitality sector. The main idea behind the college is to create the perfect candidate for the hotel industry. In 2023, we found that the balance between qualifications and working experiences were a big issue as the candidates were either having working experiences but not academic qualification or having academic qualification but not the working experiences required. Therefore, Northwest is working on a concept that will make the students have both working and academic experiences.
In 2023, Northwest International Hotel School was created to provide quality education to Mauritian and internation students. The training are designed to help the lack of staff in most of the hotels in Mauritius.
